Caring for your Umbrella Sling

The umbrella sling has been treated with a waterproofing balm, so this should protect it from getting too wet. Let it dry in a cool dry place, and we recommend reapplying more waterproofing balm every 2-3 months.For oil or stains: Avoid using soap or cleaners. Light marks usually fade as the leather absorbs natural oils from your hands. For persistent stains, apply a very small amount of natural leather balm and gently buff with a clean cloth. Every 4–6 months, or when the surface looks dry, apply a thin layer of leather conditioner or beeswax-based balm. Over time, the leather will darken, soften and develop a rich sheen. This unique patina reflects your personal use - no two pieces age the same, and that’s part of its beauty.
